Who would have thought a lampshade..

..could have a design impact? Not me! But Victoria over at ShadeThatLamp sure did. I won this off her blog and it arrived today and makes my apartment living room just a tad more chic!
I would take a picture of our whole living room/dining room area but I am ashamed to admit some of our wedding gifts are still in boxes and stored along the walls next to our table. And yes our apartment has some weird 70's ski chalet vibe going on with random pieces of paneling. But this shade pulls in my dark wood tones with my lighter brown suede couch--now to add some blue throw pillows and tie it all together.
